Math Magician
Here is a place to practice your math facts. You can even time yourself, and print out a certificate when you master them!
XtraMath
This is a wonderful site for students to practice their math skills. The cool part about it? Their progress and participation gets sent directly to their teacher! All they need is the four digit code that their teacher gave them.
The Common Core are the new national standards that have been adopted by 45 states. Check out what 4th graders across the country need to learn this year.
The best way to improve your reading is to READ! Here is the link to our school library. It has a great search engine for you to look up new books.
The Young Writers Project is a Vermont based website where students of all ages can post their writing and give feedback to other young writers! Some pieces are even published in the Vermont newspapers every few weeks.
NGSS
Next Generation Science Standards are the new national standards for science. Hartford School District and the state of Vermont will now be following these standards when teaching science.
